From Westmore (Rt 5A): Between the white church and the white town hall take Hinton Hill Road up and over the mountain. At the fork at the top stay left on Hinton Hill and stop and turn around and look at the view behind you, please. After a couple of ups and downs and miles, just where the road levels out Mad Brook Rd appears on your right. Take it. (If you get to the Hudson Road, you've missed Mad Brook Rd. and gone 1.5 miles too far.) We are one half mile past the gate at the end of Mad Brook Rd. The gate is the beginning of our "driveway," a "closed" town road through our neighbor's property. Just ignore those signs our neighbors put up about authorized vehicles only. We have access. They don't mean you. You are authorized.

As a courtesy to our immediate neighbors along Mad Brook Road please drive slowly up and down the mountain. They're not used to traffic. There may be horses in the road just up ahead of you, or a baby carriage. So please use caution, particularly around the bend. It's easy to get going way too fast for the neighborhood especially coming down the mountain. Go slowly; there's a lot to see. Thank you.
